President

Dr. Ben Boudreau

Dr. Ben Boudreau’s passions include studying human anatomy as human dissections laboratory supervisor and tutor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he gained a distinct appreciation for joint mobility. He has also contributed to chiropractic outreach in the Dominican Republic, expanding access to care. When he’s not in the office, you might find him kayaking or enjoying old records, all while serving as Vice President of Chiropractors Nova Scotia.

Dr. Matt Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy has been involved within the Association since 2018. In addition to his roles as President, he serves on the National Insurance Committee and is CNS’s Representative at National and Pan-Canadian Leadership Summits. In 2021 he was Awarded ‘Chiropractor of the Year’ by the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors.

Vice President

Dr. Chuck Dauphinee

I am passionate about my work as a chiropractor and often think of myself as a “body engineer.” My journey into chiropractic began after earning a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on biomechanics. A serious gym injury left me with chronic back pain, which no therapy seemed to resolve—until I tried chiropractic. This transformative experience inspired me to pursue a career as a chiropractor. Upon graduation I immediately immersed myself in the local sports community offering chiropractic as well as being a sport first responder. Working with many different sports at all levels, I became aware of the need for diversity in sport, specifically hockey. I formed the first 2SLGBTQIA+ and straight allies hockey group in Atlantic Canada where I still coach and referee my time. Due to this initiative, I was appointed to the Hockey Nova Scotia Diversity and Inclusion Task Force where I help lead projects to change hockey culture for all. I have always wanted to give back to my profession in other ways too, so I am proud to be part of the CNS board. I am very excited about the current work and vision of the CNS and will do everything I can to help advance our profession in Nova Scotia.

Secretary

Dr. Chantal Belliveau

Dr Chantal Belliveau was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition at St. Francis Xavier University. She then pursued her studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated cum laude and received her Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Chantal offers treatment for acute and chronic joint and muscle pain, jaw pain, headaches, migraines, women’s health, and sports injuries. She is a certified functional integrated acupuncture provider.
She strives to create a safe environment where people feel comfortable sharing their health experiences in order to provide the utmost care. Her focus is on patient centered care to personalize each treatment plan. In her spare time, Chantal can be found at the beach, trying new recipes, or reading a novel. She has an annual goal of 40 books and welcomes recommendations.

Treasurer

Dr. Greg MacMillan

Dr. Gregory MacMillan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick, after which he pursued his passion at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. While at CMCC, Dr. Greg took on leadership roles with student council. In his final year he worked at the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) as the membership experience intern. During his time at the CCA he gained valuable knowledge about the association and its nation-wide membership through work on national advocacy efforts, membership development, and continuing education.
Dr. Greg practices in a multi-disciplinary clinic based in Truro, NS. He is a strong advocate for inter-disciplinary care and improving collaboration of all health care professionals across the province, as well as improving rural access to health care services. He looks forward to his involvement as a board member in the Nova Scotia Chiropractic Association, working to further the ongoing development of the profession in Nova Scotia.

Dr. Megan Dobbin

With experience in competitive sports and her degree in Chiropractic at the University of South Wales, UK, Megan uses her knowledge to tailor treatment to the patients individual needs. She combines manual treatments with lifestyle modification and self management strategies to make care as efficient as possible. 

Raised in HRM, Megan has been calling Tatamagouche home for four years and is looking forward to growing her family and business in the community. When not in the clinic, you will find Megan exploring trails with her dog or finding a new recipe to share.
